The Internal Martial Arts have been part of my life for over 35 years. I started teaching in 1988 and have spent my career seeking out the best teachers around the world to become a better practitioner and teacher.
Why should you practice? The internal martial arts have many benefits and if you are at this site you have at least some idea of why they are so profound and beneficial.
With these practices, there are 5 different directions you can take the practice.
1- The Martial side of the training.
2- The Therapeutic side of the practice.
3- The Medical side.
4- The Philosophical study.
5- The Meditative or Spiritual side of the practice.
Through the years I have had over 25,000 students come through my martial arts academy and never once have I met two that followed the same path. This is one of the beautiful things about this practice is that you can build a practice that fits your lifestyle and your desired outcomes.
You will learn how to use ritual practices, active practices and philosophical practices of the internal arts to make them part of your life. This practice is not meant to be a hobby that you do a couple of days a week. It is meant to be part of who you are and integrated into everything you do.
If you use the practice this way it will be one of the best things you can ever do for your physical and emotional well being.
